Diamond Seal Systems professional treatment is engineered to create a covalent bond at the molecular level, forming a smooth barrier on glass, granite, porcelain, and other compatible glazed surfaces to improve water-repellent properties.

The treatment helps protect the surface from oxidation and water corrosion by creating a hydrophobic barrier that reduces the ability of contaminants to bond to the surface and leave behind stains or corrosion. Diamond Seal Systems products have been tested by five independent laboratories in the United States and in real-life shower-door, transportation, and home-construction applications since 1996.

The treatment is also intended to make glass brighter, optically clearer, and easier to clean without adversely changing its appearance or optical characteristics. The warranty states that the coating will not chip, crack, or yellow and will not affect the glazing seals of the coated surface.

The professionally treated surface is warranted for life when it receives the required regular maintenance without harsh detergents or chemical cleaners. The initial professional application must be completed by a certified Diamond Seal Systems applicator.

Required maintenance protocol.

Regular cleaning with Diamond Blue Wash helps preserve the smooth, water-repellent qualities of treated glass. Diamond Blue Wash and Liquid Diamonds Protective Treatment may be used on glass surfaces around the home as part of the maintenance program.

Wipe down shower-door glass once or twice per week with a clean towel while the surface is still wet. When the glass is dry, apply Diamond Blue Wash with a clean microfiber cloth, wipe in a circular motion, and buff the surface to a shine with a separate clean microfiber cloth.

For optimum repellency, apply Liquid Diamonds Protective Treatment once per year. Do not use ammonia, acid-based cleaners, abrasive materials, harsh detergents, or other incompatible household cleaners on the treated glass. These products can reduce the treatment’s water-repellent qualities and may void the warranty.

With the prescribed care, the warranty describes the surface as remaining Forever Brilliant™, water-repellent, and easy to clean. Continued maintenance helps preserve both the treated finish and the warranty coverage over time.

If performance changes or the surface is damaged.

If misuse or damage reduces the easy-to-clean, water-repellent performance, the warranty guidance states that the homeowner may restore those qualities with a Diamond Seal Systems bath-care kit, now presented on this site as the Complete Bath Kit. A certified local dealer can provide service when a complete reapplication is needed.

The warranty states that the factory-applied base coat lasts for more than 20 years and does not need to be reapplied.
